“Recruitment Services ” Privacy Policy

These Terms constitute the agreement regarding the handling of personal information when using the recruitment services (hereinafter referred to as “the Service”) provided by PRINCESITA Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”). This is your consent to the use of your personal information. Please be sure to read them carefully before using the Service. 

1. (Purpose of the Use)

The Company will use your personal information for the following purposes. The Company will not use it for any purpose beyond these:

(i) The Company will use the personal information you provide for the following purposes: 

  • Various procedures related to your registration
  • Providing the recruitment services you have applied for
  • Providing information related to the services you have applied for, such as various communications from the Company, email newsletters, seminars, etc. (including ad delivery from advertising providers) 
  • Requests for cooperation in analyses/improvements related to the Company’s business and services, including post-employment status checks and surveys for service enhancement
  • Providing information about services offered by the Company after employment
  • Confirmation of facts related to joining the hiring company and receipt of notification from the company
  • Post-employment verification as required by law and receiving notifications from hiring companies
  • Introducing the Company’s services to hiring companies and providing information about the job market, etc.
  • Processing, compiling statistics, and analyzing information for publication on websites and other media
  • Developing new services and conducting marketing activities
  • Creating aggregated, analyzed, and statistical materials to improve service quality

(ii) The Company analyzes information related to website users obtained from usage data of various services related to the Company’s recruitment services, registered career information, device information, IP addresses, attribute information, location information, advertising identifiers, and browsing history, and uses it for the following purposes: 

Providing recommended job listings

  • Providing information about various services related to the Company’s recruitment services
  • Requesting cooperation for surveys, etc., and improving the Company’s services, including the website

2. (Provision to Third Parties) 

Personal information provided may be disclosed to third parties as follows: 

(i) Personal information may be provided to hiring companies as follows: 

(1) Type and Attributes of the Recipient Organization

Hiring companies that have entered into a contract with the Company, including provisions regarding the appropriate handling of personal information, and have submitted job openings to the Company. 

(2) Purpose of Provision

To conduct recruitment services for hiring companies, provide job seeker information, or otherwise provide optimal recruitment services. 

(3) Circumstances of Provision

  • Job seeker’s application for a job opening and related employment placement activities
  • Introduction of the Company’s services to hiring companies, and provision of information or proposals regarding the job market and recruitment plans, etc.
  • Follow-up on post-employment status

(4) Items of Personal Information Provided

  • Information necessary to achieve the purposes stated in (2) above, such as name, date of birth, address, phone number, email address, resume, and work history obtained through use of the Service, etc.
  • Information necessary for providing optimal recruitment services, such as the job seeker’s current job search status (information about schedules for interviews with other companies, whether job offers have been received and their priority, etc., with company names and specific compensation details withheld) and desired compensation conditions 

* The Company will provide information deemed necessary for each specific situation. 

Please note that the following information will not be provided when introducing the Company’s services to hiring companies or providing information about the job market: 

  • Among personal information obtained through the use of the Service, name, date of birth (age may be disclosed), address (excluding prefecture), phone number, and email address

(5) Means or Methods of Provision

Processed information converted into electronic data, etc., will be provided via electromagnetic means such as email or the Company’s systems, or provided in written form. 

(ii) The Company may provide processed personal information to individuals considering submitting an application for recruiting service to the Company (hereinafter referred to as “the Prospective Job Applicants”) as follows: 

(1) Type and Attributes of the Recipient Organization

Prospective Job Applicants

(2) Purpose of Provision

To introduce and promote the Company’s services to the Prospective Job Applicants. 

To develop job openings matching job seekers’ preferences and suitability. 

(3) Circumstances of Provision

When introducing the Company’s services to the Prospective Job Applicants, and when providing information or proposals regarding the job market and recruitment plans.

(4) Items of Personal Information Provided

Personal information obtained through use of the Service, etc., limited to information necessary to achieve the purposes of use stated in (2). 

Note: The Company does not provide name, date of birth, address (excluding prefecture), telephone number, or email address. The Company provides items such as previous job type, previous industry, number of employees at current company, job responsibilities at current or previous position, job title, language skills, qualifications held, and annual income range. 

(5) Means or Methods of Provision

Processed information converted into electronic data, etc., will be provided via electromagnetic means such as email or the Company’s systems, or provided in written form. 

3. (Acquisition of Sensitive Personal Information)

As a general rule, the Company does not acquire sensitive personal information. However, if the User voluntarily provides sensitive personal information to the Company, the Company may acquire and use such sensitive personal information to achieve the optimal matching between job seekers and hiring companies. Furthermore, the Company may provide acquired sensitive personal information to third parties (hiring companies) as necessary for conducting recruitment services for hiring companies, providing job seeker information, or providing other optimal recruitment services. Note that provision to third parties (hiring companies) will only occur with the individual user’s prior consent. 

4. (Outsourcing)

(i) The Company shall bear responsibility for the handling of personal information in outsourced operations. The Company rigorously screens outsourcing partners, selects them after internal approval procedures, enters into contracts with them, confirms their compliance with the Company’s personal information protection policy guidelines, and outsources only within the scope of the specified purpose of use. 

(ii) The Company may outsource the management of personal information to foreign corporations, specifically Google LLC (a U.S. corporation) and Microsoft Corporation (a U.S. corporation), to the extent necessary for the operation of services the Company uses (e.g., cloud services provided by Google LLC). In such cases, the Company will confirm that Google LLC and Microsoft Corporation have established adequate systems compliant with standards set by the Personal Information Protection Commission before outsourcing. 

5. (Voluntariness of Registering Personal Information) 

Registration of your personal information is voluntary. However, failure to register necessary information may prevent you from receiving appropriate services. 

6. (Acquisition of Personal Information from Third Parties)

The Company acquires information from hiring companies regarding the following matters: 

  • When a hiring company intends to conclude an employment contract with the User, the Company will obtain information (including but not limited to name, employment period, and compensation) stated in the hiring company’s offer letter or other documents specifying working conditions. This information is obtained through written or email receipt, other electronic means, or verbal confirmation to verify the hiring company’s facts regarding employment. 
  • When an indefinite-term employment contract is concluded between the hiring company and the User, the Company will obtain information regarding the User’s employment status after joining the company via email or other electronic means, in accordance with legal provisions. 

7. (Disclosure of Personal Information)

Requests for notification of purpose of use, disclosure of personal information, correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, erasure, or cessation of provision to third parties should be submitted to the contact point below. Upon receiving such a request, the Company will require identity verification and details of the request. Please submit your request by completing the necessary documents specified by the Company.
